The results that Irene and I have achieved have been amazing.
Regardless of the number of marathons and races, I struggled with slimming down and toning up. This was the first time, people really noticed the changes to my body. Friends commented that my shoulders gotten broader and my waistline was smaller. I did my best to tie my pants up with my belt, and now it looks like baggy clown pants!
As for my wife, she looks hotter than ever. I am so proud of her "Bringing it, every night especially after work when she gets home at 10pm." We continue to press play on that DVD Player!
We are looking forward to purchasing a new wardrobe, especially new suits for my friend's and my cousin's upcoming weddings!
Here are some comments that my son, Zachary said just recently. As we walked around Costco, for some grocery shopping. I stopped and grab a sample morsel of havarti cheese. With the sliver in my mouth, my son says, "Do you want to do another round of P90X?" Laughter echoed in the warehouse, and I hugged my little boy.
I came close to many of my fitness goals. How this all started, was that I wanted to run faster to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Originally my weight goal was to get down to 170 lbs. However, as my waist line started to shrink from 42 down to 36, and now 34. I realized that my body wasn't designed to look like a wire.
I wasn't sure what to expect, but the one thing that suprised me the most was that I could grab the bottom of my feet as I did the seated straight legged stretch. The proud feeling that I felt that evening was of astonishment and amazement.
One of the reasons for me taking on P90X was to improve my running times, and that was it. I really just wanted get my workouts done sooner. Overall I have dropped close to a 2 minutes off my pace.
My next step is to complete the Vermont City Marathon in Burlington, VT at the end of May. Irene and I plan on doing another round of P90X after the marathon, however, it will be modified to allow for our running schedule as I challenge myself to qualify for the Boston Marathon and Irene will do the Wineglass Marathon in Corning, NY
Again, I want to thank Scott and Gail Janicola for introducing P90X and the Team Beachbody World. And I will do my best to pay it forward to help and motivate others to reach their fitness and health goals! So, I would like to invite everyone to join me at my Fit Club for a great workout and support to reach your fitness goals! We meet most Tuesdays, and please RSVP for your spot!
Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions!
Bring it,
Noah
